A Little History

Dune Cycle was made by Allied Pacific Engineered Products {A.P.E}

It then became a division of Allied Pacific Mfg. and a member of Tower Industries, Inc. Later the branding became "manufactured and distributed by Allied Mechanical Products a division of Tower Industries, Inc." And then "a division of Tower Industries". Finally the name has been handled my a private owner.

Dunecycle 3rd Prototype

Dunecycle built in 1968-69. This was the third prototype. First 2 had no suspension (1967) with the same hard tires in the photo. This one had independent rear suspension. Bottom right photo go-kart/mini-bike clutch. It cost too much to manufacture. The 3rd prototype was not pretty but had really good parts that solved a lot of problems.
