1982 “TRI-AUTO” 420 PROTOTYPE

The 1982 Husqvarna “Tri-Auto” 420 was a fully functional prototype by Husqvarna in response to the Honda ATC 250R. Husqvarna had the intentions of entering the trike market, however, the project didn’t continue.

1982 HUSQVARNA ATC250 PROTOTYPE

Greg Paul is the owner of this rare factory prototype 1982 Husqvarna ATC250. Jim McIlvain, known as Jimmy Mac to Jody's Box readers, was the man responsible for building the Husqvarna tri-carriage line in partnership with Volvo.

The project stopped when Cagiva bought Husky in 1987.

Rick Mears’ Husky One is a blend of Husqvarna and Honda parts built by Rick and Roger Mears.

TRIVARNA 240WR

The Trivarna 240WR is a conversion kit for the Husqvarna 240WR Dirt Bike. The kit was listed at 8500 Francs.

TRIVARNA 125CR & 250CR

The Trivarna 125CR & 250CR was also a conversion kit for the Husqvarna 125CR & 250CR. This style of conversion continued for all newer models in the aftermarket industry and custom builds.
